Resting for the night on their long journey, a father tells his troubled son a bedtime story to help them get to sleep.
The father and son are mutants from the Waste of Teramor, they seek to travel east- away from the Waste and all the evil forces that dwell there. Before them lies the Razorteeth Mountains and a difficult journey to the land of Kazzia- where an uncertain future awaits them.
The Witch Chronicles is an anthology series of short stories that takes place in the same world in which the Witch and the Orchard is set. The series introduces many of the strange, wonderful and perverse characters that inhabit the world of Teramor.
